WWE Star Cameron Denies Being Racist For Dating Only White Men

Don’t call former WWE Diva Cameron a racist!
The Total Divas alum, real name Ariane Andrew, came under fire this week after saying she only dates white men. And now, she’s responding to her critics!

It all started when the 29-year-old was approached by a TMZ photographer over the weekend, who, for some reason, asked if she dates white guys.
“I love white guys!” she replied. “I actually don’t date black guys.”
She continued, “I just have a thing for white boys — a little vanilla and a little chocolate. They make cute babies!”
To say that brief conversation earned her some backlash would be an understatement.
After the clip was posted on the site, Twitter ripped Cameron apart, accusing her of “self hate” and reminding her that “black babies are beautiful.”

@TMZ @ArianeAndrew Self hate, still prevalent & clearly she's a victim of it. Date who you want just don't make a racial ordeal out of it!

@ArianeAndrew he didn't even ask about black men but you brought us up What for why directly trying 2 offend us what for wierdo
Following the onslaught, the former wrestler returned to TMZ to further explain her comments, insisting she’s dated black guys in the past but that white men are just a “preference” she has.
“It was a comment, it wasn’t meant to be derogatory,” she starts.
She continues, denying she’s a self-hater, and saying, “I’m a black woman and I think everybody is beautiful in their own way.”
Actually, she’s not even sure if she’ll change her mind about what sort of man she’s attracted to in as little as two years.
“Who knows, maybe two or three years down the line, you’ll see me with a black man that I’m married to or a hispanic man or Middle Eastern,” she muses.
“At the end of the day, looks are skin deep and what I think is beautiful is maybe different from what you think is beautiful.”
In other words, she concludes, “if you’re dope, you’re dope,” no matter your background or where you’re from.
And about those biracial baby comments…
Cameron has an answer for that, as well, insisting that she’ll love her child “no matter what skin complexion they have.”
“All babies are beautiful but obviously if I were to marry a white man my child would be biracial. But at the end of the day, any child I have I’m going to think is beautiful,” she states.
